ST. DAVIDS NEW POOL MEETING

I got yesterday the June newsletter from Susan Preece, Secretary of the St Davids Community Pool Group:

"Plans to build a community swimming pool in St Davids have moved a step forward following the results of the public survey carried out earlier this year and the special interest group consultation meetings in May. Many thanks to those who participated in these.

The results established overwhelming support for the establishment of a new pool and provided essential information for the development of the ultimate specification of the pool and its facilities.

The final consultation meetings for everyone in the St Davids Peninsula Community will be held at:

Ysgol Bro Dewi on Tuesday 6th July

5pm for the under 18s

6:30pm for everyone else

This is an opportunity to meet with Mike Lawless of LA Architects who is leading the project.

Everyone in the community is urged to attend so that their views can be taken into account in order that the Community gets the pool that it needs, which will ensure its long term sustainability. Please note that under 13s should be accompanied by an adult..
